Chinese dim sum dumplings. So good. So high in carbohydrate.
But there is a low carb alternative, if you are up for it. I just tried replacing the dumpling wrapping with steamed cabbage and it worked out splendidly.
It’s true. These little cabbage dumplings are just as tasty as the original and twice as healthy.
To make them, you mix together a filling of ground pork, fresh ginger, garlic, coconut aminos or soy sauce, egg, almond flour, bouillon and scallions. Then you wrap it up in a cooked cabbage leaf and steam the dumplings until they are cooked through.
And you’re done. Low carb dim sum all around.
