Low Carb Keto Cheese Grits

This is a low carb and Keto take on the classic Southern breakfast: cheese grits. You can make it in under 10 minutes and each serving has just 217 calories and 3g net carbs.

Ingredients

1 cup super fine almond flour

1 cup water

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

1.  Mix together almond flour, water and salt in a medium size sauce pan.

2.  Bring to boil over medium heat, whisking occasionally. Once the mixture is boiling, whisk continuously for 1 to 2 minutes, until it visibly thickens.

3.  Remove from the heat and stir in the cheese.  Mix until melted and combined.
