Remember that SNL skit where Will Ferrell and Cheri Oteri played highly excitable cheerleaders? (video below)
I was just thinking about how great it would be to have cheerleaders cheering you on in your everyday life. That would just be awesome.
There was a whole lot to cheer about today in my kitchen. I came up with a low carb yogurt recipe that I am super psyched about.
It’s an incredibly simple recipe.
I just took plain Greek yogurt and added in some homemade sugar-free cranberry sauce. I blended it up in the blender and just like that, I had the perfect low carb snack. It’s only got 8g net carbs per cup but it tastes just like a normal mixed berry fruit yogurt. It’s got this great tang to it. It’s really good.
The only thing this recipe needs is the perfect cheer. Spartan Spirit!

This really does taste just like mixed berry yogurt! I’m going to freeze some of the cranberry sauce so I can make this treat when cranberries aren’t in season. Thanks for posting this.

Good idea. I hate how short the cranberry season is.
