This recipe uses sweetened yellow squash to stand in for apples. This lowers the carb count down to 4g net carbs per serving.

1.  Cut the yellow quash into 1/8 inch thick slices.

2.  Cook the squash in the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add the lemon juice, sweetener and spices and cook for another 5 minutes.

3.  Add to a dehydrator and dehydrate for 15 hours at 130 degrees F.
