Some times you just feel snacky.
It doesn’t matter that you are on a low carb diet.
Snackiness doesn’t care one toot about your resolutions. “To heck with them!”, it says.
Here’s a workaround, for when you absolutely have to snack on some chips. (If your football team is losing, lets say.) It’s a great recipe that I found on Wholesome Yum. It’s a simple tortilla chip that’s made from almond flour and mozzarella cheese. It’s on the cracker end of the chip spectrum. Think Cheezits, rather than Doritos.
You’ll need to make the almond flour and cheese dough first.
Then roll it out until it’s very thin. Like 1/16 of an inch thick. Then cut it into chip sized triangles with a sharp knife. A large butcher knife works best because you can get very straight lines. Transfer the chips onto a parchment covered cookie sheet and spray with cooking spray. Generously sprinkle with salt. Bake it and then let it cool to crisp up.
