Hola smoothie lovers!
Today’s recipe is a simple strawberry and banana smoothie with only 4g net carbs. “How?” you may say. “But bananas are not low carb! They are not Keto!!” But simmer down Keto police, this recipe has no bananas.
The secret to this recipe is banana extract.
Just like my recipes for banana waffles, banana walnut bread and banana cream pie, this one uses just banana extract and the power of suggestion to create a very banana-like smoothie. To make this recipe, you’ll need ice, almond milk, strawberries, banana extract, protein powder, cream cheese and the sugar-free sweetener of your choice. Blend it all together and you’ll have a creamy, fruity snack or breakfast anytime you want one.
So no, this smoothie has no bananas, it has no bananas today!
