Keto Cheese Grits

This is a low carb and Keto take on the classic Southern breakfast: cheese grits. You can make it in under 10 minutes and each serving has just 217 calories and 3g net carbs.


Units Scale
  • 1 cup super fine almond flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese


Step 1.  Mix together almond flour, water, and salt in a medium-size saucepan.

Step 2.  Bring to boil over medium heat, whisking occasionally, 4-5 minutes. Once the mixture is boiling, whisk continuously for 1 to 2 minutes, until it visibly thickens.

Step 3.  Remove from the heat and stir in the cheese.  Mix until melted and combined.
