This sugar-free gummy candy recipe is just the bee's knees. It's a sneaky way to get your kids to eat naturally sweetened zero-sugar candy.
Step 1. Mix together cold water and Mio flavoring in a medium-sized saucepan. Add unflavored gelatin and stir to combine. It will be lumpy.
Step 2. Turn the heat to Medium and cook, stirring constantly with a rubber spatula, until fully dissolved, 1-2 minutes.
Step 3. Place your rubber candy molds on a baking sheet and make sure that there is room for it in the refrigerator. Use a pipette (the large eye droppers that come with most rubber candy molds) and fill the wells of the rubber molds to the top.
Step 4. If you want to make multi-colored gummy candy, just drop a small amount into each well or partially fill some sections of the worm molds. Then add repeat with different flavors.
Step 5. Chill the sugar-free gummy candies in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 6. Un-mold the gummies by pushing on the back of the mold to pop them out.
You can also make this recipe with Sugar-Free Jello instead of the Mio Water Enhancer. Just mix together 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin, 1 small (.3oz) box of Sugar-Free Jello, and 1/3 cup cold water. Then proceed with steps 2-6.
